"Relay" is the VOA's new product — a mobile first realtime news reporting system. I worked closely with the team to provide consultation on the User Experience and design a clean interface that gets the design out of the way and makes the content shine.

Hired by Eightshapes as a UX designer I worked on the creation of a native time-tracking web app for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. I collaborated with the team through iterative sketching sessions, conducted user research interviews and created a design system for the final app.
For most of 2013 I worked as a UX consultant on the redesign of the National Geographic Magazine online. I worked closely with the lead design and development teams employing agile process to devise a beautiful responsive experience worthy of their amazing content and photography.

As a proud geek, I make a point of keeping up on the latest design trends and code techniques. I love the challenge of tackling a new design, the thrill of finding a solution and the reward of a problem solved.
